Review : ACT vs Airtel vs Reliance Broadband Bangalore

I have been using ACT Broadband for last one month. Till now I have experienced a good quality service from them.  I have used Airtel for nearly 6 years and Reliance for 3 years.

Review : Installation Comparison ACT vs Airtel vs Reliance

Their installation service was definitely par above Airtel and  Reliance.

ACT :- 1) With in 1 hour of call to customer care,I got for call from field executive for appointment.
            2) Same day on given appointment, Executive collected papers.
            3)  Next day installed and activated the connection.
Conclusion:- Whole activity completed by a team of 4-5 people. Activated the connection in less than 20 hours Very satisfied with this service response.

Airtel :- 1) Took appointment and collected papers same day.
             2) a) In case of connection availability airtel takes 48 hours to get the connection fully working.
                 b) In case connection is not feasible, they will not even inform you.
Conclusion:-  BAD response in comparison to other service provider.

Reliance:- 1) After calling to customer connection for new connection, I got call from field executive after 3 days.
                2) Rest same as airtel.
Conclusion:-  BAD response in comparison to other service provider(ACT to be precise).

Review : Customer care Comparison ACT vs Airtel vs Reliance
ACT:- Directly connects to customer representative. If you are calling using registered mobile, they will not ask all kind silly and annoying questions. Will directly address your problem.

Airtel:- Firstly, their IVR system lengthy. After connecting to call executive ask answer all silly questions. Then they will address problem.

Reliance:- Their IVR system is also very length. Their call executive use to sound very dull lazy. Also sound very unprofessional.

Review : Complaint Resolution Comparison ACT vs Airtel vs Reliance
ACT:- 1) They resolve the concern very quickly.
            2) They will send you complaint acknowledgement SMS and Resolution SMS also in case some fault is there on their Server side.
            3) They commit to resolve disconnection problem with in 3 days(maximum). In my case they resolved with in 3 hours for acknowledgement SMS. But this is BAD( 3 days commitment for highest priority issues creates anxiety in customer's mind).

So you don't need to keep checking if any progress on complain OR services resumed or not by intermittent testing the connection.

Airtel:- 1) They resolve  the concern very quickly.
            2) They promise to resolve disconnection problem with in 4 hours. They have always kept this commitment. And 4 hours commitment also gives a peace of mind to customer. In this parameter, Airtel service was VERY GOOD. They also compensate in Bill if they overshoot committed timeline.

Reliance:- 1) They are slow in issue resolution.
                2)  They promise to resolve disconnection problem with in 24 hours. But sometimes they overshooted that time line. For overshooting the committed time line, like airtel, they don't compensate.
Overall BAD service.

I've experienced the worst installation ever. It took more than 2 weeks to install a connection at my house. It took 2 days just to crimp the cable so that it could be plugged into my router.

And now I'm experiencing a flaky internet connection. The speeds are good at certain times but I have a lot of connectivity issues most of the time.

It feels really frustrating calling up customer care every time and they tell you they will send an engineer. The last engineer did nothing but click the download button on the speed test website.

I took ACT based on the reviews of my friends but I now regret it. I guess they can't keep up with the rising demand or perhaps they are good in certain areas. I would advise anyone to be cautious with them.

My ACT package is ACT Blaze

My installation took more than 2 weeks.

Now I experience a flaky 20Mbps connection with the ACT Blaze package. The service is horrible and I find myself increasingly frustrated and handicapped with ACT.

I'm going to close my connection and go for Airtel.

ACT is very bad all unlike Airtel
*their speed is and poor not consistent ,they dont give what they promised and collected money for.
*their portal and their entire system is fraudulent, the figures that show the consumption of package shows exaggerated nos.
*their service to attend a complain is poor
*people sitting in the customer care and registering a complain doesnt understand a bit of whats going on with their own organisation.
My sincerer advice is to keep out of this service provider but one thing for sure is that the name suits them perfect ACT and pretend.

I m using Aitel wifi Hotspot with 5 user connectivity promising 30mbs speed in HSR Layout Sector 1. My problem : Connectivity 2 user only. Speed : 7mb after payment. 4 mb in 2nd week. 2 to 3 mb in 3 & 4th week. Airtel unable to solve.

Hi Everybody,
ACT is very good and Ashish is correct. See Airtel- only 4 mbps! and 2000+ money. Look at ACT - okay ACT starm or blaze I dont know which I took but ACT is 30 mbps in just 1499. and ACT INCREDIBLE! Its the best! 100 MBPS IN JUST 2000+!! Okay i dont know reliance too much so Airtel be like ACT ! So i thik in ACT VS AIRTEL VS RELIANCE ONLY ACT CAN BE THE WINNER!!

I have been using ACT in chennai, speed wise ok but their post installation service sucks. I have placed a relocation request and to my surprise no body turned out till i checked with their call centre who asked me to submit all the docs again. The issue stands unresolved till now and I decided to surrender my connection. Very bad service,
ACT just does not act on customer issues.

Act has horrible service.
Go for Airtel.
This is from someone who has tried Act twice.
But at least try once, see how horrible life could get, you wont complain about anything else after that.

it is always +35 to 46 speed in 50 mbbs speed. Some times drops are noticed but that frequent . Any complaints addressed quickly. Not finding any problem. The problem could be the local technical branch staff at some places. Administratively well organised better than Airtel. Airtel marketing, and tech no coordination. I was using beam , tried to opt for Airtel but after bitter experience reverted to ACTFIBER. Now relaxed.

I have been using ACT from years. Originally, a Beam customer which was purchased by ACT. We stayed with them during the transition and even when they failed provide proper connectivity. But now they seem to have excess customer base and do not want customers
